Ugly. For a long time I thought that was the worst thing someone could call you. Ugly. That is how they saw you, and it didn’t matter if they meant ugly on the inside or ugly on the outside. Ugly things are not wanted and they are not friends or lovers. I don’t quite understand why some people have this idea that fat and ugly are synonymous.
